The Lexus SC 430 is a luxurious roadster that converts to a hardtop coupe with the press of a button.
The SC 430 boasts true sports car credentials; rear-wheel drive, a fully independent suspension, and a powerful V8 engine. The Lexus SC 430 features a power retractable hardtop, a 288 horsepower 4.3-liter V8, six-speed automatic transmission, and a long list of luxury features. It is trimmed in leather with beautiful wood and chrome accents. Also standard is a navigation system and Mark Levinson audio with nine speakers.
The SC 430 receives a new six-spoke wheel design, satellite radio and a USB port for 2010.
LEXUS IS 250C
Lexus adds to the IS family with the addition of a new two-door, convertible hard-top version called the IS 250C.
With its two doors and three-panel retractable hard-top roof in the up position, the new car has a very coupe-like appearance. With the push of a button, the aluminum roof panels retract to provide open-air motoring for up to four passengers. The new IS 250C shares the same powertrain as the IS sedan – a 2.5 liter V6 mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Comfort and safety features carry-over largely unchanged from the sedan.
The Lexus IS 250C receives smart stop technology for 2012.
