The Steel Certification is Proved,Composite materials are traditionally regarded as materials
that can save energy in large structures associated with transport.
They are used to produce lightweight structures for fuel-efficient aircraft such as the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner;
lightweight cars from Lotus,
Ferrari and TVR;
and high-speed trains, speedboats, and racing yachts.
Now, however, some of the most interesting applications of composites
are those where the materials are used to save lives and
protect property by absorbing the energy of projectiles, impacts, and crashes.
While we incorporate as much lightweight armor as possible,
high-hardened ballistic steel is still applicable in certain areas of the vehicle.
All steel incorporated into the armoring process is milled using a special chemical
composition that ensures ballistic integrity and maximizes Brinell hardness.

This 32,000-lb Cougar military vehicle has a V-shaped hull that can survive a 30-lb TNT blast,
as well as MRAP armor panels that protect the six soldiers in the cab from gunfire.

Steel Certification:

NCE/TAG is backed by stringent quality controls,
proven manufacturing systems and world-class
certifications that meet the highest standards of safety.
We are especially proud of our recent VPAM-BRV 2009/VR7 Ballistic ERV 2010 Blast Certification,
which we received for both our Toyota Land Cruiser and our Toyota Hilux armoring solutions.
